Thermomix Customer Newsletter – September 2010

This month’s Thermomix Customer Newsletter is all about spring and warmer weather on the way.  Included are two recipes to help you get started by spring cleaning your whole body!  

CADA Breakfast Muesli 

 Ingredients   
Handful each;
Organic fresh coconut
Almonds
Pitted dates
1 apple, quartered 

 Method
Place all ingredients into TM bowl and with dial set to closed lid position, press Turbo button 2 or 3 times for 1 second each.
Serve with fresh yoghurt and additional sliced fruit as desired.

 Herbal Apple Tonic 

Ingredients   
500g apple juice
500g water
¼ cinnamon stick (approx. 3 cm)
1 piece star anise
50g honey
1 tbsp lime blossom or rose hip tea, dried
40 g lemon juice
1 orange (pith removed), peeled and cut into pieces 
 

Method
Place all ingredients into TM bowl and cook for 7 minutes at 100ºC on speed 1.
Allow to infuse for 15 minutes.
Insert simmering basket, hold it in place with spatula and strain the tonic into glasses or cups.
Serve immediately.
