Thermomix Team Recipe of the Month “Toblerone Cheesecake” and April 2011 News

This month’s newsletter features our group leader’s never fail, bring everywhere, everybody loves it Toblerone Cheesecake recipe!  I have tried this cheesecake and no wonder it is such a hit.  Thanks Machelle for letting us sharing your favourite recipe 🙂

    • Hello Darren and welcome to the world of Thermomix! Sorry that you couldn’t open the link, I have copied over the recipe and pasted it below. Hope you enjoy!

      TOBLERONE CHEESECAKE
      Ingredients
      200g chocolate biscuits
      80g butter
      60g almonds
      500g block cream cheese
      100g sugar
      200g Toblerone milk or dark chocolate, melted
      50g thickened cream
      Additional 200g Toblerone milk or dark chocolate

      Method
      Place biscuits and almonds in TM bowl and mill for 10 seconds on speed 8. Set aside.
      Add butter to bowl and melt for 2 minutes at 60°C on speed 1.
      Add ground almonds and biscuits and combine for 5 seconds on speed 5.
      Press into the base of a lightly greased 20cm spring form pan. Chill.
      Place sugar into bowl and process for 2 seconds on speed 8. Set aside.
      Place 200g toblerone chocolate of choice into bowl and grate for 10 seconds on speed 8.
      Melt chocolate for 2 minutes at 50°C on speed 3.
      Return sugar to bowl along with the cream and cream cheese.
      Mix for 30 – 40 seconds on speed 4.
      Pour mixture over prepared base and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours until set.
      Meanwhile grate remaining 200g Toblerone for 4 seconds on speed 8.
      Serve topped with grated Toblerone.
