For those of you wanting to make the sauce referred to in the “general tips” section of my post of the “BBQ Steak”, here is the recipe just for you!
Mushroom Sauce for Thermomix BBQ Steak
1 onion, quartered
30 g butter
4-6 mushrooms, sliced
1 cup wine
Water (enough to bring mixture of water and wine up to 500 g)
1 tbsp TM Vegetable Stock Concentrate
Salt and Pepper to taste
Place the onion into the TM bowl and chop for 5 seconds on Speed 7.
Add butter and sauté for 3 minutes at 100˚C on Speed 1.
Add the mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes at Varoma temperature on Reverse
and Soft Speed.
Add wine, water, stock, salt and pepper.
Place Varoma with tray into position and cook for 20 minutes at Varoma temperate on Speed 1.
